My Story
I’m Shalini — a trauma-informed coach (M.C.L.C., ICF Certified) and survivor of Complex PTSD.
My life once looked like a highlight reel: I led global teams, built award-winning projects, worked as an international model, and thrived in fashion, education, and executive recruitment.
Behind the scenes, I was stuck in overdrive — overachieving, overgiving, and overriding my truth.
I didn’t know I had trauma. I just knew I never felt fully safe — not in my body, my relationships, or with myself.
In 2019, after an abusive relationship, I was diagnosed with Complex PTSD.
Later, a virus triggered an anaphylactic shock that landed me in the ER while I was alone abroad. It was terrifying. What followed was a cascade of health issues that no doctor could explain — and I lost the ability to keep pretending I was fine.
Trauma doesn’t just live in the mind — it lives in the body.
That was my final wake-up call.
My Healing Journey
I dove deep. I tried every modality, worked with global experts, and slowly rebuilt the connection to myself — not by striving, but by softening and by facing everything head on.
Through somatic work, inner child healing, nervous system repair, and deep trauma integration, I learned to feel safe again. I stopped abandoning myself. I found my voice.
Who I Am Now
Today, I’ve broken the cycle of emotional abuse.
I’ve built secure, healthy relationships.
I’ve learned to love myself — fully.
I live in truth, peace, and spiritual clarity I never thought possible.
But more than anything, I stopped settling for survival — and began building a life I could thrive in.
